AB0768 NEUROLOGICAL MANIFESTATIONS IN GRANULOMATOSIS WITH POLYANGIITIS: ABOUT 11 CASES

Background: Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) is a rare systemic vasculitis, affecting mainly the superior airways, lungs and kidneys. Neurological impairment frequent, described in 22 to 54% of cases, rarely inaugurates disease. Objectives: The objective our work was evaluate its prevalence different aspects. Methods: A retrospective study including 11 files GPA patients followed over period 10 years Internal Medecine Department at Tahar Sfar Hospital Mahdia TUNISIA. Results: manifestations were reported 5 patients: pyramidal syndrome noted 3 normal cerebral MRI, disabled headache one patient MRI. Peripheral neuropathy 2 Electroneuromyogram objectified mononeuropathy ulnar nerve, peroneal musculocutaneous nerve distal sensitivomotor poly patient. Cranial nerves damage two VII (1 case) V case). Conclusion: Our results, show importance timely diagnosis these neurological manifestations, as their evolution will depend on early treatment.
